Johnstone Strait is known thorough the world as the best place to consistently be able to find and observe Killer whales in their natural habitat. Being centrally located in the Johnstone Strait, Adventure Quest Tours is only minutes from prime Killer whale viewing areas. All 5 species of wild pacific salmon migrate through these waters every summer, making Johnstone Strait a perfect place for the Orca to congregate, and for us to find them!

Central and Northern Vancouver Island is located midway along the Humpback whales migration routes. You can also see Dall's porpoise, Harbour porpoise, Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Minke Whales and Grey Whales in the waters of Johnstone Straight.
